The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.47.58

पुत्रपौत्रसुहृद्भृत्यबन्धुस्वजनपेटकम् ।
यस्यातिविस्तीर्णमभूत्पत्रवृन्दं तरोरिव ॥ ५८ ॥

putrapautrasuhṛdbhṛtyabandhusvajanapeṭakam |
yasyātivistīrṇamabhūtpatravṛndaṃ taroriva || 58 ||

He was beset by a large family, consisting of his sons, grandsons, friends and servants; and had other relatives and kinsmen besides. His children were as many as the fruits of a mango tree.
