The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.47.48

भुक्तं पीतं पुरा तेन येषु खर्परकेषु वै ।
तैरस्पन्दाभ्रसलिलैः पानपूर्णैरिवावृतम् ॥ ४८ ॥

bhuktaṃ pītaṃ purā tena yeṣu kharparakeṣu vai |
tairaspandābhrasalilaiḥ pānapūrṇairivāvṛtam || 48 ||

He saw the dry hollow skulls lying on the ground, which had served for his eating and drinking vessels before; and which still lay unmoved on the spot, and were filled with rain water.
