The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चिन्तयामास च तटे क्व सा माता क्व सा प्रिया ।
यदाहं मृतिमायातो मध्ये मातृमहेलयोः ॥ ९ ॥

cintayāmāsa ca taṭe kva sā mātā kva sā priyā |
yadāhaṃ mṛtimāyāto madhye mātṛmahelayoḥ || 9 ||

Then rising on the bank, he said:—Ah! where is that mother and wife of mine, who attended on me at the moment of my death.
