The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अग्निकुण्डप्रविष्टानां मन्त्रिणां भृत्यरोदनैः ।
रुदत्क्रन्ददृढतरमरण्यमिव मारुतैः ॥ ३४ ॥

agnikuṇḍapraviṣṭānāṃ mantriṇāṃ bhṛtyarodanaiḥ |
rudatkrandadṛḍhataramaraṇyamiva mārutaiḥ || 34 ||

The plaintive cries of the dependants of the self-cremating ministers, rose as the swell of whistling winds amidst the forest trees.
