The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एक एवाजिरं बाह्यं तादृग्वेषः स निर्ययौ ।
मुख्याङ्गं णान्नभोभागादस्तं गच्छन्निवांशुमान् ॥ ७ ॥

eka evājiraṃ bāhyaṃ tādṛgveṣaḥ sa niryayau |
mukhyāṅgaṃ ṇānnabhobhāgādastaṃ gacchannivāṃśumān || 7 ||

He went abroad at one time in this naked state of his body, and beheld the setting sun bending his course below the horizon from his wonted path of glory.
