The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तुषारशिशिरस्पर्शैस्तास्तं हारैरभूषयन् ।
श्यामा वननदीपूरैर्वर्षाः श्रृङ्गमिवोत्तमम् ॥ २७ ॥

tuṣāraśiśirasparśaistāstaṃ hārairabhūṣayan |
śyāmā vananadīpūrairvarṣāḥ śrṛṅgamivottamam || 27 ||

He then came to the royal road, resembling the milky path of heaven;and found it filled by soldiers and citizens, and their women without number.
