The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तत्कलत्रमशेषेण नीतमावृत्य मृत्युना ।
आसारसलिलेनाशु वनपर्णगणो यथा ॥ २१ ॥

tatkalatramaśeṣeṇa nītamāvṛtya mṛtyunā |
āsārasalilenāśu vanaparṇagaṇo yathā || 21 ||

He came to see at last all his family to be swept away by the cruel hand of death, as the rain water carries away the fallen leaves of the forest.
