The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्यामया मलिनाकारदशनामलमालया ।
वनपल्लवया भूरिविलासवलिताङ्गया ॥ ९ ॥

śyāmayā malinākāradaśanāmalamālayā |
vanapallavayā bhūrivilāsavalitāṅgayā || 9 ||

She was black and swarthy in her whole complexion, except her two rows of milk white teeth, and had all her limbs as brisk and supple as the tender creepers of the forest.
