The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.45.5

संपन्नं श्वपचागारे शिशुं श्वपचवल्लभम् ।
इतश्चेतश्च गच्छन्तमुत्पीडमिव यामुनम् ॥ ५ ॥

saṃpannaṃ śvapacāgāre śiśuṃ śvapacavallabham |
itaścetaśca gacchantamutpīḍamiva yāmunam || 5 ||

It grew up to childhood and then to boyhood in the Chandala's house, and moved about here and there like a pebble thrown up by the current of the Yamuna stream.
