The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भूतमण्डलपर्यन्तग्रामोपान्तनिवासिनाम् ।
श्वपचानां स्त्रिया गर्भे स्थितिमात्मानमाकुलम् ॥ २ ॥

bhūtamaṇḍalaparyantagrāmopāntanivāsinām |
śvapacānāṃ striyā garbhe sthitimātmānamākulam || 2 ||

He saw a village in the vicinity of Bhuta mandala (Butan) full of its inhabitants, and that he was reborn there in the womb of a Chandala woman, in which he remained with great pain.
