The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ताराक्रन्दरणद्रेफप्रलापालापलुब्धया ।
मात्रा गृहीतं चिबुके नवव्यञ्जनलाञ्छिते ॥ २७ ॥

His sorrowing mother with her loud wailing and mournful ditties, was buzzing like the humming bee; and holding the chin newly over-grown with whiskers in her tender hand.
