The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एकदारब्धवान्स्नानं सरस्युदितपङ्कजे ।
चिन्तयन्वैष्णवं वाक्यं महर्षिरिव मानसे ॥ १८ ॥

ekadārabdhavānsnānaṃ sarasyuditapaṅkaje |
cintayanvaiṣṇavaṃ vākyaṃ maharṣiriva mānase || 18 ||

Once on a time as he had been bathing in the lake, overspread with full-blown lotuses, he thought upon the words of Vishnu, as the great sages reflect in their minds the sense of texts of Vedas.
