The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

बभूव परितुष्टात्मा दर्शनेन जगत्पतेः ।
दर्शनस्पर्शनैरिन्दोरुत्फुल्लमिव कैरवम् ॥ १६ ॥

babhūva parituṣṭātmā darśanena jagatpateḥ |
darśanasparśanairindorutphullamiva kairavam || 16 ||

He was glad in his soul at the sight of the lord of world, and his heart was as full blown with joy; as the Kumuda (selenian) lotuses unfold at the sight of the moon.
