The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

संवेद्यनिर्मुक्तनिरामयैकसंविन्मयास्वादमनन्तरूपम् ।
सन्मात्रमास्वादय सर्वसारं पारं परं प्राप्स्यसि जन्मनद्याः ॥ ४० ॥

saṃvedyanirmuktanirāmayaikasaṃvinmayāsvādamanantarūpam |
sanmātramāsvādaya sarvasāraṃ pāraṃ paraṃ prāpsyasi janmanadyāḥ || 40 ||

Behold the unsullied form of One infinite God in your conscious self, and by forsaking all whatever it is conscious of. Relish the sweet essence of the one real entity, and go over the ocean of repeated births in the mortal world.
