The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इमां प्रह्रादसंसिद्धिं प्रविचारयता नृणाम् ।
सप्तजन्मकृतं पापं क्षयमायात्यसंशयम् ॥ ९ ॥

imāṃ prahrādasaṃsiddhiṃ pravicārayatā nṛṇām |
saptajanmakṛtaṃ pāpaṃ kṣayamāyātyasaṃśayam || 9 ||

The man who considers well the manner of Prahlada's gaining his proficiency, gets a remission of all the sins committed by him in his repeated previous states of life.
