The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.41.14

इदं त्याज्यमिदं ग्राह्यमिति मिथ्या मनोभ्रमः ।
नोन्मत्ततां नयत्यन्तर्ज्ञमज्ञमिव दुर्धियः ॥ १४ ॥

idaṃ tyājyamidaṃ grāhyamiti mithyā manobhramaḥ |
nonmattatāṃ nayatyantarjñamajñamiva durdhiyaḥ || 14 ||

The erroneous idea that, such things are acceptable to me, and others are not so; serves only to delude the ignorant, and not the wise.
