The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

न रमन्ते हि रम्येषु स्वात्मन्येव गताशयाः ।
नोद्विजन्तेऽन्यदुःखेषु स्वात्मन्येकरसायनाः ॥ २२ ॥

na ramante hi ramyeṣu svātmanyeva gatāśayāḥ |
nodvijante'nyaduḥkheṣu svātmanyekarasāyanāḥ || 22 ||

He takes no delight in the pleasing objects about him, nor does he regret at the afflictions of others; all his pleasure consisting in his own soul.
