The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रलुठत्स्वपि शैलेषु कल्पाग्निषु दहत्स्वपि ।
वहत्सूत्पातवातेषु स्वात्मन्येव हि तिष्ठति ॥ ९ ॥

praluṭhatsvapi śaileṣu kalpāgniṣu dahatsvapi |
vahatsūtpātavāteṣu svātmanyeva hi tiṣṭhati || 9 ||

Whether the hills fall headlong to the ground, or the flames of destruction devour all things; or the rapid gales rend the skies, it is no matter to the soul which rests secure in itself.
