The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

निमेषान्तरमात्रेण मनः पीवरतां ययौ ।
तस्मिन्प्राणवशात्पूर्णे तरङ्ग इव वारिणि ॥ १८ ॥

nimeṣāntaramātreṇa manaḥ pīvaratāṃ yayau |
tasminprāṇavaśātpūrṇe taraṅga iva vāriṇi || 18 ||

The same vital breath, strengthened the powers of his mind in a short time; as the billows of a river, become more powerful when it is full of water.
