The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विद्यमानापि वस्तुश्रीर्न स्थिता त्वयि न स्थिते ।
वनितारूपलावण्यसत्तेव गतचक्षुषः ॥ ६१ ॥

vidyamānāpi vastuśrīrna sthitā tvayi na sthite |
vanitārūpalāvaṇyasatteva gatacakṣuṣaḥ || 61 ||

The beauties of existences are imperceptible without the soul; as the graces of a beauty are not apparent to one devoid of his eyesight.
