The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अद्येन्द्रियदुरश्वांश्च जित्वा जितमनोगजः ।
भोगारिमभितो भङ्क्त्वासाम्राज्यमधितिष्ठसि ॥ ४५ ॥

adyendriyaduraśvāṃśca jitvā jitamanogajaḥ |
bhogārimabhito bhaṅktvāsāmrājyamadhitiṣṭhasi || 45 ||

As thou hast now subdued the untractable horses of thy bodily organs, and the indomitable elephant of thy mind; and as thou hast crushed thy enemy of worldly enjoyment, so dost thou now reign as the sole sovereign, over the empire of thy body and mind.
