The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हयद्विपरथाकारैर्यद्वत्खे दृश्यतेऽम्बुदः ।
तद्वदालोक्यसे देव पदार्थशतविभ्रमैः ॥ ३९ ॥

hayadviparathākārairyadvatkhe dṛśyate'mbudaḥ |
tadvadālokyase deva padārthaśatavibhramaiḥ || 39 ||

Thou art seen, O lord, in a thousand forms that glide under our sight; in the same manner as the various forms of elephants and horses, cars and other things are seen in the passing clouds on the sky.
