The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दारुवारिदृषन्मात्रे लुलितो यो धरातले ।
धिग्वराकमनात्मज्ञं तं कुदानवकीटकम् ॥ ७२ ॥

dāruvāridṛṣanmātre lulito yo dharātale |
dhigvarākamanātmajñaṃ taṃ kudānavakīṭakam || 72 ||

Cursed be the wicked demons that are so sadly ignorant of their souls; and resort for the safety of their bodies, to their strongholds of woods and hills and ditches, like the insects of those places.
