The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अपूर्वमनिबद्धेन्द्रमशस्त्रदलितामरम् ।
अप्रार्थितं मे संप्राप्तं जगद्राज्यमिदं ततम् ॥ ५९ ॥

apūrvamanibaddhendramaśastradalitāmaram |
aprārthitaṃ me saṃprāptaṃ jagadrājyamidaṃ tatam || 59 ||

I have gained my boundless empire over all worlds, without my seeking or asking for it; and without subduing it like Indra of old or crushing the gods with my arms.
