The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रह्लादं प्रति गीर्वाणास्ततः स्निग्धत्वमाययुः ।
महान्तो यत्र नोद्विग्नास्तत्र विश्वासवन्मनः ॥ ८ ॥

prahlādaṃ prati gīrvāṇāstataḥ snigdhatvamāyayuḥ |
mahānto yatra nodvignāstatra viśvāsavanmanaḥ || 8 ||

The gods were henceforth pacified towards Prahlada;because the mind is never suspicious of one who has the credit of his superiors.
