The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

क्व किलात्यन्तदुर्वृत्ता दानवा दलिताद्रयः ।
क्व पाश्चात्यमहाजन्मलभ्या भक्तिर्जनार्दने ॥ २६ ॥

kva kilātyantadurvṛttā dānavā dalitādrayaḥ |
kva pāścātyamahājanmalabhyā bhaktirjanārdane || 26 ||

How different is their present transformation to the Vaishnava faith, which is acquired only after many transmigrations of the soul, from their former spirit of insurrection, in which they broke down the rocks and mountains.
