The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चलच्छशिकलापूरचारुचामरधारिणी ।
इयं मे पार्श्वगा लक्ष्मीः क्षीरोदकुहरोत्थिता ॥ ४५ ॥

calacchaśikalāpūracārucāmaradhāriṇī |
iyaṃ me pārśvagā lakṣmīḥ kṣīrodakuharotthitā || 45 ||

This moonlike figure with the chowry flapper in her hand and rising from the depth of the milky ocean, is the goddess of prosperity (Laksmi) and associating consort of Vishnu.
