The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हतबन्धुजनं प्लुष्टबन्धुबान्धवमण्डलम् ।
शनैराश्वासयामासुर्मृतशिष्टं स्वकं जनम् ॥ २७ ॥

hatabandhujanaṃ pluṣṭabandhubāndhavamaṇḍalam |
śanairāśvāsayāmāsurmṛtaśiṣṭaṃ svakaṃ janam || 27 ||

After burning the dead bodies of their friends, they invited the relics of the demons; that had found their safety by flight, to return to their deserted habitations again.
