The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथ विद्रुतदैत्येन्द्रं दग्धान्तःपुरमण्डलम् ।
बभूव पातालतलं कल्पक्षुण्णजगत्समम् ॥ २३ ॥

babhūva pātālatalaṃ kalpakṣuṇṇajagatsamam || 23 ||

After the burning of the Pandemonium, and expulsion of the demons, the infernal regions presented a void waste, as at the last devastation of the world.
