प्रार्थयांचक्रिरेऽथाजं दैत्येन्द्रेभपतेर्वधे ।
न क्षमन्ते महान्तोपि पौनःपुन्येन दुष्क्रियाम् ॥ १२ ॥

prārthayāṃcakrire'thājaṃ daityendrebhapatervadhe |
na kṣamante mahāntopi paunaḥpunyena duṣkriyām || 12 ||

They all applied to Brahma, for destruction of the archdemon; because the repeated misdemeanours of the wicked, are unbearable to the good and great.
