The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.29.29

अद्यासौ संस्थितो राम पुनरिन्द्रत्वहेतुना ।
जीवन्मुक्तवपुः स्वस्थो नित्य ध्यानविषण्णधीः ॥ २९ ॥

adyāsau saṃsthito rāma punarindratvahetunā |
jīvanmuktavapuḥ svastho nitya dhyānaviṣaṇṇadhīḥ || 29 ||

Thus Bali continues to remain in his confinement to this day, with his mind fixed in meditation, for the purpose of his attainment of Indraship again in a future state of life.
