The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

साधुतामागतो जीवो योग्यो ज्ञानकथाक्रमे ।
निर्मलाकृतिरादत्ते पट उत्तमरञ्जनाम् ॥ ४८ ॥

sādhutāmāgato jīvo yogyo jñānakathākrame |
nirmalākṛtirādatte paṭa uttamarañjanām || 48 ||
