The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.24.30

फलवत्तागृहीतत्वे फलवत्तासुखप्रदम् ।
कर्ता नो मन एवेह यत्कल्पयति तत्तथा ॥ ३० ॥

phalavattāgṛhītatve phalavattāsukhapradam |
kartā no mana eveha yatkalpayati tattathā || 30 ||

If we should seek to know the cause for the good or bad results of our actions, we must learn that they turn as well as the mind wishes to mould them to being.
