The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विरोचन उवाच ।
मन्त्रिणस्तस्य तनय नित्याजेयस्थितेरपि ।
श्रृणु वच्मि सुसाधत्वं येनासौ परिजीयते ॥ २ ॥

virocana uvāca |
mantriṇastasya tanaya nityājeyasthiterapi |
śrṛṇu vacmi susādhatvaṃ yenāsau parijīyate || 2 ||

Virochana replied:—Though that minister, is invincible and stands above all in his great might; yet I will tell you the expedients, whereby he may be overcome by you or any one else.
