The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

महता मम राष्ट्रेण त्रैलोक्याद्भुतकारिणा ।
किं वा भवति भुक्तेन भूरिभोगातिहारिणा ॥ २९ ॥

mahatā mama rāṣṭreṇa trailokyādbhutakāriṇā |
kiṃ vā bhavati bhuktena bhūribhogātihāriṇā || 29 ||

Of what use is it to me to have this unrivaled sovereignty, which is a wonder in the three worlds; and of what good is it to me, to enjoy this plenteous luxury, which is so charming to the senses?
