The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आभूतलमभिप्रोतसप्तपातालमण्डलैः ।
क्वचिद्रत्नाकरैर्व्याप्तः पातालैर्विवरैरिव ॥ १४ ॥

ābhūtalamabhiprotasaptapātālamaṇḍalaiḥ |
kvacidratnākarairvyāptaḥ pātālairvivarairiva || 14 ||

The depth of the nether world concealed in its darksome womb, rich mines of gems and metals, lying under the surface of the earth, and reaching to the seventh layer of patala or infernal regions.
