The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अस्मत्पित्रोरतीतानि पुत्रलक्षाण्यनेकशः ।
पत्रकोरकवृन्तानि लताविटपयोरिव ॥ ३३ ॥

asmatpitroratītāni putralakṣāṇyanekaśaḥ |
patrakorakavṛntāni latāviṭapayoriva || 33 ||

Our parents also had numberless offspring in their past lives, and the branches of human generation are as numerous, as the innumerable fruits and flowers on trees.
