The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

असंख्यपुत्रयोर्नैव भवानेव सुतस्तयोः ।
सरित्तरङ्गवत्पुत्र गताः पुत्रगणा नृणाम् ॥ ३२ ॥

asaṃkhyaputrayornaiva bhavāneva sutastayoḥ |
sarittaraṅgavatputra gatāḥ putragaṇā nṛṇām || 32 ||

Thou art not the only son of them, that had innumerable sons before thee; for the generations of men, have passed away like the currents of a running stream.
