The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कल्पद्रुमवनच्छायाविश्रान्तमुनिकिन्नरः ।
श्रृङ्गैराततमाकाशं जितवान्यः समुन्नतैः ॥ ४ ॥

kalpadrumavanacchāyāviśrāntamunikinnaraḥ |
śrṛṅgairātatamākāśaṃ jitavānyaḥ samunnataiḥ || 4 ||

It touched the sky with its lofty peaks, and the arbour of its kalpa trees; spread its shadow over the hermits and kinnaras that resorted under its bower.
