The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ये ये नाम महाभागा बहवो बान्धवास्तथा ।
विनष्टा एव दृश्यन्ते ते ते कतिपयैर्दिनैः ॥ ५५ ॥

ye ye nāma mahābhāgā bahavo bāndhavāstathā |
vinaṣṭā eva dṛśyante te te katipayairdinaiḥ || 55 ||

Those that are called great fortunes, and their components and appendages as also many good friends and relations; are all seen to fly away in a few days of this transient life.
