The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

युक्तायुक्तदृशा ग्रस्तमाशोपहतचेष्टितम् ।
जानाति लोकदृष्टान्तं करकोटरबिल्ववत् ॥ १० ॥
yuktāyuktadṛśā grastamāśopahataceṣṭitam |
jānāti lokadṛṣṭāntaṃ karakoṭarabilvavat || 10 ||
He sees the right and wrong dealings of men, and the acts of the depraved desires of their minds; but knowing all human affairs as clearly as in a mirror in his hand, he holds his peace with every one.
