The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सर्वस्याभिमतं वक्ता चोदितः पेशलोक्तिमान् ।
आशयज्ञश्च भूतानां संसारे नावसीदति ॥ ९ ॥

sarvasyābhimataṃ vaktā coditaḥ peśaloktimān |
āśayajñaśca bhūtānāṃ saṃsāre nāvasīdati || 9 ||

He speaks agreeably to every one, and utters gently what he is required to say; he is never put out of countenance, who understands the intentions of others.
