The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.14.51

स्वाद्यस्वादकसंत्यक्तं स्वाद्यस्वादकमध्यगम् ।
स्वादनं केवलं ध्यायन्नित्यमात्ममयो भव ॥ ५१ ॥

svādyasvādakasaṃtyaktaṃ svādyasvādakamadhyagam |
svādanaṃ kevalaṃ dhyāyannityamātmamayo bhava || 51 ||

Forsake the ideas of the subject and object of your taste, (i.e. of the taster and tastable); and thinking on their intermediate state of gustation or tasting, be one with the soul.
