The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

रिपुभिर्नयनोन्मुक्तैर्दृष्टः सूत्रैर्निबध्यते ।
संकल्पकृतया शूरसेनया परिभूयते ॥ १११ ॥

ripubhirnayanonmuktairdṛṣṭaḥ sūtrairnibadhyate |
saṃkalpakṛtayā śūrasenayā paribhūyate || 111 ||

The visible world disappears at the sight of reason, as a man flies from the sight of his foe; and the train of imaginary creations fly before it, like hosts of demons vanquished by the gods.
