The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.13.107

मौर्ख्यं यदापदान्विष्टः का हि नापदजानतः ।
पश्य मौर्ख्यादियं सृष्टिरज्ञानेनैव जन्यते ॥ १०७ ॥

maurkhyaṃ yadāpadānviṣṭaḥ kā hi nāpadajānataḥ |
paśya maurkhyādiyaṃ sṛṣṭirajñānenaiva janyate || 107 ||

It is ignorance that is ever exposed to dangers, and the ignorant are always the victims of error. Know the unreal world to be the creation of ignorance and of the ignorant only.
