Yoga Vasistha [sanskrit]

223,437 words | ISBN-10: 8171101519

The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.13.96

तस्मान्नास्त्येव दुष्टात्म चित्तं राम जगत्त्रये ।
सैषा सम्यक्परिज्ञानाच्चेतसो जायते क्षतिः ॥ ९६ ॥

tasmānnāstyeva duṣṭātma cittaṃ rāma jagattraye |
saiṣā samyakparijñānāccetaso jāyate kṣatiḥ || 96 ||

Hence there is no such thing as a good or bad mind in any of the three worlds (when there is no mind at all). The bias of its existence will be utterly removed by full knowledge of spirituality.
