The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एषा ह्यविद्या कथिता मायैषा सा निगद्यते ।
परमेतत्तदज्ञानं संसारादिविषप्रदम् ॥ ८९ ॥

eṣā hyavidyā kathitā māyaiṣā sā nigadyate |
parametattadajñānaṃ saṃsārādiviṣapradam || 89 ||

The mental power is called error and illusion also, and these in ignorance of the Supreme Brahma, produce the knowledge of this poisonous world.
