The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मन एवमसत्कल्पं चित्प्रसादेन जीवति ।
भावयन्विश्वमेवैकं चिन्तामेत्य चिदप्युत ॥ ४९ ॥

mana evamasatkalpaṃ citprasādena jīvati |
bhāvayanviśvamevaikaṃ cintāmetya cidapyuta || 49 ||

Thus the unsubstantial mind, lives upon the outer world by the help of the intellect; but as it comes to remember its origination from the intellect, it recoils back to its original state.
