Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

निरीहता निष्क्रियता सौम्यता निर्विकल्पता ॥ २८ ॥

Freedom from fear and desire, from exertions and action, together with sapience and equanimity, are the inseparable accompaniments of ease and rest.
