The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जनकस्येव सद्बुद्धेः स्वयमेव विलोकिनः ।
विकासमेत्ययं देही देवः प्रातरिवाम्बुजम् ॥ १२ ॥

janakasyeva sadbuddheḥ svayameva vilokinaḥ |
vikāsametyayaṃ dehī devaḥ prātarivāmbujam || 12 ||

The intelligence which looks into itself as Janaka's, finds the soul developing of itself in it, as the lotus-bud opens of itself in the morning.
